I usually find that winter is not my favourite time of the year, and some of the need to do jobs around the house get left for the warmer weather. Here are a few that have been waiting for a while.
Clean the windows
During winter I tend to forget the windows. It’s time to arm myself with some paper towel, Windex, and whatever else is needed to get the job done.
As the weather warms up it doesn’t hurt to open them up and let in some fresh air and warm sun in.
Tidy up the garage
If you have a garage at your place, now that the winter is gone it’s time to get into the garage and have a general tidy up.
Throw away anything that you won’t need anymore and stock up with gardening supplies.
A couple of hours in there should do the trick
Get into the garden
If you’re a gardener then this is probably your favourite season. We have started planning for the garden and are looking to plant a wider assortment of colour this year.
We might even try something different and see if we can make the garden more functional as well as a happy place to be.
Smoke detectors
Do you need to change the batteries in your smoke detectors? You could change the batteries and then forget about that task until next spring
Give the walls a makeover
A fresh paint job does wonders.
Have a makeover budget and would like to give a new look to your house, start in the living room.
Colour cards are readily available at Bunnings and they will give you a starting point
