{Colours of Perth} Winter Succulent

It’s been a rainy old week here in Perth and the clouds have been painting the sky every shade of grey known to man.

Walking home from school with my little boy one afternoon this week, I happened past this beautiful succulent and it seemed like the dullness of the sky was simply being reflected in its plump little leaves.

Look a bit closer however and subtleties start to emerge – purples and greens with a hint of blue … all overlaid with silvery tones.

It’s a very subtle palette – especially when compared to the stunning contrasts of Summer Bougainvillea. But I still reckon it packs a nice little punch!
